A unique triangular medieval stone bridge that once crossed the confluence of three waterways at the centre of Crowland.
Trinity Bridge now stands above dry ground, but its three-way form once served waterways meeting in the centre of Crowland. That change is the point of the visit: the bridge makes the alteration of the fenland water system visible in a single structure. Its medieval stonework and unusual shape also make it a memorable landmark in its own right. Walk around it to understand how the three arms relate, then explore the nearby abbey remains for another part of Crowland’s long history.
